Pastor
Before coming to Grand River Community Church (GRCC), I attended Word of Life Bible Institute, where I completed a Certificate in Biblical Studies. After that, I went on to Heritage College and Seminary, graduating from their Bachelor of Theology Program in 2016. By God’s providence, in the summer of 2014 I began a 2-year internship at GRCC in youth ministry and by His grace was kept on staff at its conclusion. I was primarily responsible for youth, along with other Elder duties, over the next 9 years, but as of September 2025, I have been blessed with the role of Lead Pastor here at GRCC.
I married the greatest woman alive in 2012 and Amy hasn’t regretted it yet (that I know of). We have 4 kids; Theodore, Eloise, Phoebe and Linus. There’s also Chuck, our dog. Besides a desire for discipleship and teaching, I enjoy sports, music, and time with family and friends. I grew up close to Sauble Beach, where my own youth pastor had a great impact on my life and faith. I desire to be used by God to do the same for our church family, as together we serve our Lord Jesus. To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honour and glory and might, forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus called me to Himself in the summer between grades 9 and 10 at camp, in Paris Ontario.
There have been many humbling and valuable life lessons since then, that God has used to chislel away at my character defects. I anticipate this to contiunue until I meet my Saviour.
I am the wife of 1 very patient man, mother of 3 wonderful adult children, and grandma to 7 active, smart, and creative grand children.
In my spare time I like to sing, bake cookies, fiddle in a garden and drive down new roads to take shots of nature. I will pull the truck over if I see a hawk on a branch or wire and just stare. They amaze me!
My grandmother prayed for me and our family every morning on her knees. She and a few others have been the prayer warriors that have spoken into this life I now live. I will be forever grateful to them.
