We want you to feel welcome.Q: Is there a nursery?You will find the nursery just off the front foyer. It includes a play room, a washroom and a sleep/nursing area. We have a well-trained nursery staff. All of our staff have police checks and Plan to Protect training to ensure the safety of the children. Q: How long is the service?Our services are typically 1 hr. 15 min. to 1 hr. 30 min. in length.Q: What will happen?Don’t worry, we aren’t going to embarrass you. You will not be asked to stand up or expected to give to the offering. We know that you are just checking us out and may want to remain anonymous for a while and that’s fine with us. Come in, enjoy the atmosphere and check us out!Q: How to dress?In a word…casual. We want you to be comfortable in every way! Q: What kind of music do you have?The music is predominantly contemporary but the best of classical and traditional hymns are sung regularly.Q: Is there a children’s service?Kids have a great time of fun and learning each Sunday morning at Discovery Zone! The kids join the adults at the beginning of each service for worship and then are dismissed before sermon to go to their age appropriate classes.Awaiting them is our awesome teaching team who lead them on their journey of discovery. A variety of storytelling, hands-on activities, crafts and games are used to teach biblical truths in exciting ways. A yummy snack sends them on their way for another week. All of our staff have police checks and Plan to Protect training to ensure the safety of the children. Also, every first and third Sunday of the month, we have a special class for our grades 6 to 8 students during the sermon. The purpose of this class is to teach the foundations of our faith so they will be prepared for high school. There will be food!
