As Christians we know that our only hope for joy, peace, and eternal life is described by the gospel, which is the good news of Jesus Christ. But when we really think about it, do we truly know what the gospel is? If we can’t explain the good news to others, do we truly understand and believe it ourselves? Isn’t a subject of this magnitude worth discussing until we are absolutely sure we understand it?
On Friday, January 15th at 6:30pm, join us at the GRCC building for a time of food and true fellowship: discussing what the gospel is, why it’s the heart of Christianity, and how we can clearly communicate it with others. It will be a guided discussion, with lots of chances to ask any questions or provide your own insight. Be sure to bring your Bible, as well as enough dinner for yourself and a bit extra.
The importance of truly understanding the gospel cannot be overstated; without it, we have no hope of salvation and no chance for true joy in this life or the next. We encourage every single person to attend, as we look forward to growing closer together as a community of believers.
